<p>Job Title: Lab Technician - Fragrance Development</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Lab Technician to support our fragrance design and development team. This role plays a critical part in the execution of creative fragrance projects by managing sample preparation, coordinating cross-functional workflows, and maintaining lab operations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring strong organizational and communication skills to the team.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Sample Preparation & Support:</p> </li><li> <p>Provide backup support for fragrance compounding and formulation activities.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage and prioritize incoming sample requests to ensure timely delivery.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate closely with perfumers and fragrance evaluators to align on project timelines and sample needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Project Coordination:</p> </li><li> <p>Track and manage creative briefs and project timelines to ensure on-time execution.</p> </li><li> <p>Liaise with internal departments including sales, marketing, and shipping to support project flow and logistics.</p> </li><li> <p>Lab & Inventory Management:</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain and organize the fragrance sample library, ensuring accurate labeling and storage.</p> </li><li> <p>Source raw materials and supplies as needed to support ongoing projects.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with shipping and packaging of fragrance samples when logistics support is unavailable.</p> </li><li> <p>Customer & Sales Support:</p> </li><li> <p>Provide timely and accurate information to the sales team regarding sample availability and status.</p> </li><li> <p>Respond to sample-related inquiries with a customer-focused approach, offering solutions and updates as needed.</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Skills & Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related technical field. </li><li>1-2 years of experience in a laboratory or product development environment, preferably in the fragrance, cosmetics, or consumer goods industry. </li><li>Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask effectively. </li><li>Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with lab management software is a plus. </li><li>Comfortable working in an environment with strong scents and raw materials. </li></ul> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job</p> <p>classification and length of employment.
