<p>Meritus Health is currently hiring for an Anesthesia Support Tech. They are an integral part of the team that provides safe and efficient care to patients receiving anesthesia. Their role is assisting licensed anesthesia providers in the acquisition, preparation and application of the equipment and supplies required for the administration of anesthesia, excluding medication.</p> <p>Education - High School Diploma or equivalent</p> <p>Experience - Clinical and/or patient care experience or at least one year in a healthcare field preferred.</p> <p>Licensure/Certification - Current BLS (CPR) in compliance with policy.</p> <p>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Understands medical terminology as it relates to anesthesia patient care. Demonstrates an understanding of anesthesia equipment and related supplies. Ability to prioritize. Understands limitations of roles or practice area. Maintains professional confidentiality.
