<p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Live our mission statement centered on our values of respect, service, and excellence </li><li>Works under the direction of the branch manager and is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the branch </li><li>Plays a critical role in the profitability of the branch and assists the branch manager with P&L management </li><li>Supervises the inside sales staff and the warehouse manager </li><li>Serves as the "go-to" leader for customer service opportunities and issues </li><li>Searches for ways to improve branch operations and sales </li><li>Monitors all branch operations, including: warehouse processes, physical inventory, fleet, payroll, bank deposits, cycle counts, and daily reports using Lansing's "day's work in a day's time" philosophy </li><li>Works alongside the warehouse manager and associates </li><li>Uses company's sophisticated inventory management network, which ties all Lansing branches together </li><li>Responsible for branch staffing </li><li>Does what is necessary to get the job done while following our mission statement </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experienced manager and supervisor with the ability to motivate subordinates </li><li>High integrity and energy while working in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Experienced manager with the ability to motivate subordinates </li><li>Experience with building products either as a salesperson or in senior warehouse roles </li><li>Ability to meet -- and reach -- personal goals </li><li>Strong interest in sales and/or retail as evidenced by previous jobs or by education </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills -- the ability to work one-on-one with customers and the ability to resolve sensitive business-related issues </li><li>Strong computer knowledge </li><li>All-around business professional with exceptional telephone etiquette </li><li>Competitor with a hunger for success and the willingness to go the extra mile </li><li>Strong communication and social skills </li><li>Heavy lifting -- up to 70 pounds -- may be required on occasion </li></ul> <p>WRH123</p>
