<ul> <li>Title: Non-Tenure Track, Full-time Faculty, Medical Imaging/Radiologic Technology Program </li><li>Department: Diagnostic Health Professions, School of Health Professions </li><li>Campuses: Brookville, New York </li><li>Salary: $90,000-$100,000 </li><li>FLSA: Exempt </li><li>Starting Date: 9/1/25 </li><li>Contact: Please submit an online application </li></ul> <p>Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>To provide appropriate and effective didactic and clinical instruction to students of the </li></ul> <p>medical imaging program under the direction and supervision of the program director,</p> <p>chair, and dean</p> <ul> <li>To maintain instructional adherence as per the accreditor, program, school and </li></ul> <p>university</p> <p>Principal Responsibilities:</p> <p>Under the direction of the Program Director, Chair, and Dean, School of Health</p> <p>Professions:</p> <ol> <li>Close collaboration with the program director, clinical coordinator, staff, chair, and </li></ol> <p>dean to assure effective program operations and accreditation standards</p> <ol start="2"> <li> <p>Instruction in both didactic and clinical courses</p> </li><li> <p>Maintenance of a 24-credit workload per academic year (across fall and spring</p> </li></ol> <p>semesters only)</p> <ol start="4"> <li>Availability 12 months a year for program specific obligations as needed by program </li></ol> <p>director, clinical coordinator, chair, and/or dean</p> <ol start="5"> <li> <p>Preparation and maintenance of course syllabi</p> </li><li> <p>Timely provision of all student and course data required for accreditation reports</p> </li><li> <p>Course instruction in accordance with designated guidelines</p> </li><li> <p>Utilization of a variety of evidence-based teaching methods</p> </li><li> <p>Regularly scheduled evaluation of all required the student competencies</p> </li><li> <p>Timely documentation of student performance in the form of a letter grade as</p> </li></ol> <p>indicated by Long Island University/Post Campus guidelines.</p> <ol start="11"> <li> <p>Full participation in the accreditation and assessment process</p> </li><li> <p>Participation with program faculty in periodic review, outcomes assessment, and</p> </li></ol> <p>revision of course materials</p> <ol start="13"> <li>Maintenance of appropriate expertise and competencies through continuing </li></ol> <p>professional development</p> <ol start="14"> <li> <p>Demonstrates competence in various professional development activities</p> </li><li> <p>Attendance at seminars presented by professional societies and organizations</p> </li><li> <p>Participation in faculty meetings and services committees for the program,</p> </li></ol> <p>department, school and university</p> <ol start="17"> <li>Membership in the program's admissions committee, which reviews student </li></ol> <p>applications and conducts interviews</p> <ol start="18"> <li>Demonstration of a positive and accountable toward students, faculty, staff, and </li></ol> <p>institutional administration, to enhance cooperation and outcomes</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Excellent skills in accountability, collaboration, and written and oral communication</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum of a Master's degree</p> </li><li> <p>2 years of documented clinical experience in the professional discipline</p> </li><li> <p>ARRT certification and registration in radiography</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient in course development, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising</p> </li></ol> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <p>Life Sciences Building, LIU Post Campus, Brookville, NY</p> <p>Materials & Equipment:</p> <p>Operate a computer, copy and fax machine, scanner & any other office equipment</p> <p>LIU is an equal opportunity employer.
