<p>Job Description</p> <p>Infosys is seeking a Project Manager- This position's primary responsibility is to manage all aspects of projects to ensure that the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives; The role holder is expected to prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project & provide status reports regarding key deliverables, milestones, dependencies, risks and issues & keep the leadership updated. This role will give you an opportunity to build & lead a strong on site project team & motivate team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.</p> <p>Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Brentwood, TN or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require relocation and or travel to project locations.</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. </li><li>At least 7 Years of experience in Information Technology. </li><li>5 years of experience in program management </li></ul> <p>Preferred skills and experiences</p> <ul> <li>Coach and mentor, the Scrum teams </li><li>Supporting the DevOps Transformation journey </li><li>Formulate, organize, and monitor inter-connected projects </li><li>Prioritization and alignment of projects with strategic business objectives. </li><li>Develop suitable strategies and objectives for the programs </li><li>Coordinate cross-project activities and ensure alignment with organizational goals </li><li>Assess program performance and aim to maximize ROI </li><li>Prepare reports and communicate with stakeholders about program status and goals </li><li>Manage project resources effectively </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams </li><li>Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks </li><li>Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards </li><li>Communicate with project stakeholders </li><li>Sequencing, prioritization and Backlog management </li><li>Proficiency in MS Office and project management software </li><li>Proven experience as a Project Manager or in a similar managerial role </li><li>Problem-solving and analytical ability </li><li>Basic domain knowledge in Oil & Gas </li><li>Experience in Downstream Industry </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment </li></ul> <p>The job entails extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.</p>
