<p>The grinder will work in a team environment to complete assigned tasks related to paper rolls using various measuring tools and grinders.</p> <p>Principle Accountabilities:</p> <p>Set up and grind all types of rolls to specific tolerances and finishes (training provided)</p> <p>Operate two-wheel Ferrell grinders, overhead cranes and tow motors safely and efficiently (training provided)</p> <p>Ability to read blueprints</p> <p>Proficiency using different types of measuring instruments such as micrometers, PI tapes, dial indicator, etc.</p> <p>Record keeping - complete paperwork for each job accurately and neatly</p> <p>Must keep a safe and clean machine and work area</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>Ability to work overtime as needed</p> <p>Must be at least 18+ years old</p> <p>High school diploma or equivalent</p> <p>Valid driver's license</p> <p>Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills</p> <p>Must be able to lift 50#</p> <p>Willingness to cross train and assist in other areas as needed</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <p>Previous roll grinding experience a plus</p> <p>Experience working in a team environment</p> <p>Schedule: 6:00AM - 4:00pm (4-day work week) Monday thru Thursday, Tuesday thru Friday - Rotates weekly Weekend work when required</p> <p>Safety Boot Reimbursement</p>
