The HVAC Project Manager will oversee all aspects of project execution, ensuring timely completion within budget and adherence to the highest quality standards.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. </li><li>Oversee the execution of HVAC projects from start to finish. </li><li>Lead and manage a team of HVAC technicians and subcontractors. </li><li>Provide guidance, support, and training to ensure high performance and adherence to safety standards. </li><li>Maintain strong client relationships, addressing needs and concerns promptly. </li><li>Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery. </li><li>Monitor project progress and conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies. </li><li>Implement corrective actions as needed. </li><li>Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions. </li><li>Prepare and present financial reports to management. </li><li>Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations. </li><li>Stay updated on industry trends and best practices. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC project management. </li><li>Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems, including heating, air-conditioning, and ductwork. </li><li>Proven track record of successfully managing residential and commercial HVAC projects. </li><li>Excellent leadership and team management skills. </li><li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. </li><li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Proficiency in project management software and tools. </li><li>Valid HVAC certification and relevant licenses. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience with budgeting, scheduling, RFIs, submittals, take-offs, and buyouts. </li><li>PMP Certification. </li><li>Experience with electrical trade and HVAC sheet metal. </li><li>Proficiency in software such as Excel, Word, Bluebeam, Procore, and Timberline. </li><li>OSHA 30 certification or willingness to obtain it. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>Projects are located in Hartford, Fairfield, and Litchfield Counties. The work hours are from 7am to 4pm. The role involves attending jobsite meetings, materials purchasing, overseeing the scope of work, and ensuring projects remain under budget and ahead of schedule.
