The work day is spent in a factory which ranges in temperature from 70-100 degrees with up to 25 people under their supervision. Physical demands are substantial and the production lead is required to stand, walk, and participate in repetitive motion activities for the majority of the day. Stress is high due to the fast-paced nature of the position.</p> <p>Tools used: Computer, Two-way radio, Label machine, conveyor belt, palletizer, and box assembler.</p> <p>The performance of a production lead is rated on the completion of orders with proper specifications. The production lead is rated by the production supervisor.</p> <p>Working Relationship:</p> <ul> <li>Works with other departments, quality, production, warehouse </li></ul> <p>Supervision:</p> <ul> <li>Under the supervison of the Production Supervisor, leads their respective employees. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ability to stand on feet for long durations.</p> </li><li> <p>Occasionally lift up to 35 lbs.</p> </li><li> <p>Be able to walk long distances</p> </li><li> <p>Flexibility to work varying hours and required overtime</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills</p> <ul> <li> <p>Education: HS Diploma or GED;</p> </li><li> <p>Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Good verbal and written communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of Microsoft applications (word, excel, power point)</p> </li></ul> <p>The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to the job.
