Performs and participates in the efficient handling of customer orders, shipping and logistics, and associated administrative functions related to processing orders.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinates credit on orders. Participate in resolution of credit problems and invoice discrepancies. </li><li>Maintain sales records, provide appropriate information for finance. </li><li>Communicate with carrier operations, handle freight parties, ensure that the shipper and consignee are aware of any challenges or issues that may occur. </li><li>Prepare documentation for foreign shipments. </li><li>May be required to cross train and demonstrate competency in all essential job functions of the department working at different workstations as production needs require. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>At least 3+ years of customer service or related experience required; GED or High School Diploma is preferred. </li><li>Proven working experience with effective verbal and written communication. </li><li>Proven working experience in freight, exports, and billing is a plus, not mandatory. </li><li>Proficient working experience with a computer and/or Microsoft Suite. </li><li>Comfortability with organizational skills and prioritizing workload. </li></ul>
