<p>A little taste of your day-to-day:</p> <p>We're looking for an Accounting Manager comfortable with balancing the books, auditors, and regulatory agencies while also monitoring and improving hotel profitability.</p> <p>Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:</p> <p>? Managing and coaching your team to ensure the right person is always on the right task</p> <p>? Setting exceptional accounting practice standards and ensuring financial control procedures remain ethical and legal</p> <p>? Maximising financial returns through financial analysis, data trends, and market information, while budgeting accordingly</p> <p>? Enhancing the guest experience through improved payment options, inventory control,s and financial dispute resolution</p> <p>? Supervising several clerical accounting employees across a range of functions - from Accounts Payable to Purchasing and Payroll.</p> <p>EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional certification highly preferred.</p> <p>Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial management principles.</p> <p>Strong understanding of technical accounting standards and practices.</p> <p>Knowledge of Sage 300 ERP, BirchStreet, Opera,, Micros, and ADP preferred.</p> <p>Proficiency with Word, Excel, and other Windows-based software</p> <p>Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate reporting.</p> <p>Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.</p> <p>Strong communication skills to effectively convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.</p> <p>What you can expect from us:</p> <p>We give our people everything they need to succeed.
