Together, we create our culture by living our values in our day-to-day interactions with our patients and teammates.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <ul> <li>The AR Specialist I provides entry-level support for physician billing accounts receivable </li><li>This role focuses on insurance and patient account follow-up, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of outstanding balances while maintaining exceptional customer service </li></ul> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Process correspondence and follow up with insurance companies regarding outstanding claims </li><li>Communicate professionally with internal and external customers </li><li>Review and resolve demographic discrepancies </li><li>Understand coordination of benefits and explanation of benefits (EOBs) </li><li>Document follow-up activities in accordance with HIPAA requirements </li><li>Participate in special projects and support spreadsheets as needed </li></ul> <p>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Expectations</p> <ul> <li>Basic understanding of insurance billing </li><li>Strong customer service orientation </li><li>Detail-oriented with ability to work independently </li><li>Able to prioritize tasks and maintain confidentiality </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li></ul> <p>Licenses/Certifications</p> <ul> <li>None required </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 6 months of experience in a medical office or physician billing setting </li></ul>
