<p>This is a supporting technician role for a forensic engineering company. This position is an in-office position reporting into our Penns Park, PA (Newtown/Wrightstown, PA area). In this role you will:</p> <p>Assist lab and engineering staff with:</p> <ul> <li>Fabrication and Welding for assigned projects </li><li>Provide labor support for test programs </li><li>Operate a forklift to move equipment and goods as needed </li></ul> <p>Serve as the building/facilities coordinator for multiple facilities to include, but not be limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinating all needed maintenance, repairs, and required inspections </li><li>Provide general labor for moving items as needed </li><li>Complete all reports and necessary recording logs as required </li><li>Serve as primary contact for all building security needs </li><li>Drive to various locations to pick up supplies and equipment and run general errands as required </li><li>Assist general and administrative staff with other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>This is a blended technician and facilities coordination role ideally suited for someone who possesses excellent technician and people skills.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Welding and Fabrication skills - any certifications are a plus! </li><li>Certified Forklift Operator (or ability to become certified) is required </li><li>Superior interpersonal skills </li><li>Time and Project Management Proficiency </li><li>Graduate of a technical/vocational training program is preferred </li><li>Clean driving record and reliable transportation is required </li><li>Must be able to pass a background and DMV check </li></ul>
