<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Description: Ellington Public Schools has an opening for a .4 FTE Mathematics Specialist Position at Center School for the 2025/2026 school year.</p> <p>This position requires that qualified candidates are able to:</p> <ul> <li>Design and implement early numeracy interventions using research-based strategies </li><li>Differentiate math instruction based on student needs throughout the MTSS process </li><li>Communicate with staff and parents as to students' progress within intervention </li><li>Collaborate with school and district-wide math specialists </li><li>Be familiar with instructional coaching models to support Tier 1 instruction </li><li>Support teachers with academic strategies and interventions </li><li>Participate in additional responsibilities as determined by building administration. </li></ul> <p>Please refer to Ellington Education Association's contract for details.</p> <p>Qualifications: Applicants must hold a valid elementary education (#305) Connecticut teaching certificate.
