<p>Summary</p> <p>$2,500.00 Sign On Bonus</p> <p>Job Description Summary:</p> <p>Reports to the Practice Manager and works under the Clinical Supervisor and Office Supervisor. Performs clerical and patient care duties including assisting the physician, answering phones, admitting/discharging patients, and data entry.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Greet patients and visitors professionally; assist with inquiries. </li><li>Answer calls, take and relay messages. </li><li>Gather patient information for records and payments. </li><li>Maintain patient files, charts, and records. </li><li>Assist with patient care, including medical history, exams, minor procedures, lab tests, and injections. </li><li>Schedule procedures, prepare procedure orders, and coordinate hospital admissions. </li><li>Triage patient calls to determine care urgency. </li><li>Manage medication dosage, refills, and patient compliance. </li><li>Update patient information in EMR. </li><li>Maintain physician calendar and ensure schedule coordination. </li></ul> <p>Additional Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Attend meetings, enhance professional development, and complete assigned projects. </li><li>Adhere to organizational and regulatory standards. </li><li>Available for overtime or additional shifts as needed. </li></ul> <p>Education/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required. </li><li>Medical Assistant Program completion or equivalent experience preferred. </li><li>Previous medical office experience and Spanish-speaking skills are a plus. </li></ul> <p>Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of patient care procedures and office procedures. </li><li>Strong communication, interpersonal, and computer skills. </li><li>Ability to perform EKGs, venipuncture, and related procedures. </li><li>Ability to lift, stand, and assist patients physically. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <ul> <li>Physician office environment. Flexible hours required. </li><li>Physical demands may include lifting, standing, and assisting patients. </li></ul>
