<p>Hiring Company:</p> <p>Delicatessen Services Co., LLC</p> <p>Overview:</p> <p>The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in maintaining existing customer relationships and is responsible for entry-level warehouse operations and in-store activities for our retail and food service customers. We are looking for individuals with a passion for providing excellent customer service, a high energy level, and able to excel working in a small team environment working Sunday - Thursday.</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Receive weekly product deliveries and stocking cooler </li><li>Proper rotation of perishable items to ensure first in-first out inventory movement </li><li>Pick and pack orders for customer delivery </li><li>Complete daily food safety and sanitation activities </li><li>Monitor cooler temperature </li><li>Properly rotate and stock retail products, cooler stock, and service cases, ensuring back stock is worked into the appropriate location. </li><li>Complete pricing of retail items, including backstock </li><li>Review expiration dates on all products and note short-coded products (10-day sheets) </li><li>Set up the deli display case, ensuring the full product line is displayed, priced, and fully faced </li><li>Clean and maintain retail showcases, including glass, risers, and shelves </li><li>Update and re-stock any POS materials </li><li>Build awareness of our premium delicatessen products by engaging consumers through product sampling. </li><li>Complete additional activities or special projects as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements</p> <p>Job Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent, including basic math and reasoning </li><li>Ability to speak and read English </li><li>1 to 3 years of experience in customer service, sales, warehouse,e or a similar role </li><li>Basic computer skills </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Ability to stand for a minimum of 4 hours </li><li>Ability to bend, twist, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl </li><li>Ability to lift or carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs; push or pull objects up to 600 lbs. </li><li>Ability to work in a refrigerated/freezer environment </li></ul> <p>Training Requirements (provided)</p> <ul> <li>Basic food safety and sanitation </li><li>Familiarity with the product line </li><li>General warehouse operations (e.g., use of pallet jack, proper lifting techniques, etc.) </li></ul> <p>Location:</p> <p>Mt Juliet, TN</p> <p>Time Type:</p> <p>Full time</p> <p>Department:</p> <p>Falls City Deli Provisions</p>
