<p>DEPARTMENT: Finishing</p> <p>JOB TITLE: Thermal Bar Operator-Entry Level</p> <p>REPORTS TO: Department Manager with direction from Team Leader</p> <p>SHIFT DAYS /HOURS: 1st Shift Position (7 PM- 5AM) 12 hour a day work schedule/Monday-Friday</p> <p>STARTING PAY: $24.36 per hour, with the ability to earn more.</p> <p>We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finishing Thermal Bar Operator to join our team. We encourage you to apply for this great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the aluminum manufacturing industry.</p> <p>WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:</p> <ul> <li>Operate finishing thermal bar machinery according to established safety and quality standards. </li><li>Monitor the aluminum pieces during the thermal finishing process for consistency in quality and appearance. </li><li>Assist in setting up machines for production runs and making necessary adjustments as instructed. </li><li>Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. </li><li>Document production output and report any defects or issues to supervisors immediately. </li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. </li><li>Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries while operating machinery. </li></ul> <p>WORK ENVIRONMENT/ PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</p> <ul> <li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. </li><li>The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/ or move up to 30 pounds occasionally. </li><li>Specific vision abilities required by this job included close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. </li><li>Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
