<p>Role and Responsibilities</p> <p>Roles and Responsibilities:</p> <p>The Machine Operator is responsibilities include, but may not be limited to,</p> <ul> <li>Understand the safety features of the machines in Assembly Dept and ensure machines are operating without compromise to those safety systems. </li><li>Assemble, attach, and test pre-manufactured components or parts. </li><li>Responsible for understanding of machine functions and process capability. </li><li>Inspect and quality check products and verify accuracy. </li><li>Responsible for recognizing & alerting appropriate personnel of quality issues. </li><li>Contribute to and support the vision, mission, and guiding principles of the company. </li><li>Interpret specifications and calibrate machines to reach goals. </li><li>Monitor gauges or other indicators to assess progress, production, and maintenance needs. </li><li>Simultaneously operate multiple pieces of equipment to produce products efficiently. </li><li>Must adhere to all safety requirements. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications and Education Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Industrial and manufacturing experience. </li><li>Experience operating a machine in a manufacturing environment. </li><li>Must be able to perform accurate mathematical calculations, and read a ruler (add, subtract, multiply and divide). </li><li>Ability to work with fractions and decimals. </li><li>Positive attitude, self-directed, with strong interpersonal and communication skills. </li><li>A work history of compliance to safety, quality, and productivity standards. </li><li>A work history that supports a good to excellent attendance record. </li><li>Quick to learn and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Must have a detail-oriented approach to daily work activities. </li><li>Able to work well in a team-oriented work environment. </li><li>Mechanical abilities. </li></ul> <p>Physical requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Walking, Standing, Sitting, Kneeling (Frequently). </li><li>Lifting, Carrying up to 50 pounds (Occasionally). </li><li>Temperatures (Occasionally). </li></ul> <p>Additional Notes:</p> <ul> <li>May require overtime with little notice before or after normal work hours or weekends. </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>401k Matching </li><li>PTO </li><li>10 Paid Holidays </li><li>1 Floating Holiday </li><li>Medical </li><li>Dental </li><li>Vision </li><li>STD/LTD </li><li>Accident </li><li>Life Insurance </li><li>Pre-paid Legal </li><li>Pet Insurance </li><li>Hospital Indemnity </li><li>Critical Illness </li><li>EAP </li></ul>
