<p>Job Description</p> <p>25% - Office and Clerical Support</p> <ul> <li>Answer phones and respond to emails in a professional and timely manner </li><li>Perform general office tasks such as copying, printing, and filing </li><li>Assist with other administrative tasks as needed </li></ul> <p>25% - Resource Management</p> <ul> <li>Enter new resources into the online catalog </li><li>Place items on reserve as requested </li><li>Check materials in and out using the circulation system </li><li>Maintain accurate and organized circulation records </li></ul> <p>25% - Instructional Space Support</p> <ul> <li>Assist patrons in using the computer lab and active learning classrooms </li><li>Ensure instructional spaces are clean, organized, and ready for use </li><li>Provide basic troubleshooting for hardware and software issues </li></ul> <p>25% - Multimedia and Digital Project Support</p> <ul> <li>Assist patrons with editing digital audio and video files </li><li>Support the creation of interactive web content </li><li>Use tools such as Audacity, iMovie, Adobe Premiere, or similar software </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Strong written and verbal skills as indicated through application materials. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work morning hours as indicated on application materials. </li><li>Bilingual abilities as indicated through application materials. </li><li>Experience with multimedia software (e.g. Photoshop, iMovie,Dreamweaver, Audacity) as indicated on application materials. </li><li>Experience with library software for accessioning items as indicated on application materials. </li></ul> <p>Position Requirements</p> <p>During the semester term of the appointment, the student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must: (1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or (2) be pre-enrolled in the upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or (3) be enrolled in summer session or (4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students. (Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT apply to Student Hourly appointments).</p>
