Based in Louisville, KY, you will maintain superior customer focus and will be responsible for maintaining daily and/or hourly production expectations as directed by management.</p> <p>In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:</p> <ul> <li>Functions as team leader to promote production, quality, and job satisfaction </li><li>Coordinate shop orders for daily activity </li><li>Assist in the training and/or cross-training in production </li><li>Work within the established guidelines for performance, attendance, metrics, and safety </li><li>Provide good communication and timely follow-up to questions </li><li>Foster team interaction </li><li>Lead according to 5-S standards and suggest production improvements </li><li>Suggest improvements in ISO and general production improvements </li><li>Promote safe operations and adhere to all company safety rules and standards </li><li>May be required to assist in operator roles to include production or assembly of parts/components/kits </li><li>Performs other assignments as advised by management or designate </li></ul> <p>Who you are:</p> <p>You are an individual that collaborates, has the ability drive production goals and values differences within a group.</p> <p>For this role you will need:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>A minimum of 2 year's manufacturing and/or distribution experience </li><li>Willingness and ability to work overtime as required </li><li>Proven digital literacy / computer skills </li><li>Must be able to use general purpose hand and power assembly tools </li><li>Fluent in English (reading and writing) </li><li>Ability to complete basic math functions (addition/subtraction/multiplication/division) </li><li>Ability to adapt to change in processes, activities, and/or direction </li><li>Ability to read and understand production shop orders and instructions </li><li>Ability to lift 40 pounds intermittently </li><li>Ability to sit and/or stand daily up to 10 hours per day </li><li>Ability to defer to management when appropriate </li><li>Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications that set you apart:</p> <ul> <li>Previous supervisor or team leader experience </li></ul> <p>#LI-CB3</p> <p>Our Culture & Commitment to You</p> <p>At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
