<p>Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking for Mechanical / Hydraulic Technicians for a client in Portland, OR that focuses on renewable energy manufacturing and large rotating machinery systems. This is a temporary project, expected to be three weeks in duration. This is an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with innovative technology and high-performance machinery systems!</p> <p>PAY: $30-$40/hr</p> <p>Mechanical / Hydraulic Technician Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Support integration of prefabricated components onto HPU and compressor skids</p> </li><li> <p>Install prefabricated hydraulic hoses and tube assemblies</p> </li><li> <p>Mount hydraulic pumps, motors, coolers, and related components</p> </li><li> <p>Perform light mechanical assembly including brackets, bolted assemblies, and fluid filling</p> </li><li> <p>Assist engineering teams during commissioning and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)</p> </li><li> <p>Read and follow mechanical drawings and assembly instructions</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure assemblies are completed safely and accurately</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a clean and organized work area</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>Mechanical / Hydraulic Technician Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Previous experience in hydraulic, mechanical, or industrial equipment assembly</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with hydraulic systems, tubing, and hose installation</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with Swagelok fitting installation highly preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to safely use hand and power tools</p> </li><li> <p>Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to read blueprints and assembly drawings preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Experience working on skids, compressors, pumps, or rotating equipment is a plus</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods</p> </li></ul> <p>Details and Schedule:</p> <ul> <li> <p>$30-$40/hour</p> </li><li> <p>Approx. 3-week temporary assignment starting on or around 5/25</p> </li><li> <p>Potential for extension based on project needs</p> </li><li> <p>MON-FRI schedule, 40 hours/week</p> </li></ul>
