For more than 60 years, Hamilton has been satisfying customer needs by combining quality materials with skilled workmanship, ensuring the highest level of performance of every precision fluid measuring device we manufacture.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>The Technical Assembler will assist the Custom Solutions Group with hands-on assembly of custom designed hardware, including mechanical and electrical components.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assembly of all types of custom-designed prototype and production hardware, including mechanical and electro-mechanical components and assemblies. </li><li>Disassembly of systems and components, and packing of hardware in preparation for shipping. </li><li>Report form, fit or function issues revealed through the assembly process. </li><li>Interface daily with the engineers (by verbal or written instructions) to acquire direction, and report status on tasks and projects to which they are assigned. </li><li>Occasionally interface with various departments: Manufacturing, R&D, Shipping and Procurement. </li><li>Maintain lab/workspace clean and organized, including clean up after disassembly and packing. </li><li>All other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>General knowledge of mechanical and minor electrical assembly techniques. </li><li>Proficiency in the use of hand tools. </li><li>Must possess good verbal and written communication skills for writing reports, interfacing with manufacturing, engineering, etc. </li><li>Ability to inspect parts using applicable measuring devices, Micrometers, Caliper, Optical comparator, etc. </li><li>This position requires exerting up to 40lbs of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. </li></ul> <p>Education/Experience</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or GED equivalent. </li><li>Previous hands-on experience with mechanical components and assemblies is required. </li><li>Experience working with electrical components and assemblies is preferred. </li></ul> <p>About Hamilton</p> <ul> <li>Diverse portfolio of exciting and innovative design projects. </li><li>Tremendous opportunities for professional growth. </li><li>Commitment to sustainable design. </li><li>Competitive compensation. </li><li>Excellent benefit package includes medical, dental, vision insurance, paid vacation time, paid sick time, disability insurance, 401k, tuition reimbursement and more. </li><li>Solid stable company. </li><li>Must pass drug and background screens. </li><li>May be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (provided by employer). </li></ul> <p>Mid Salary</p>
