Assists technical teams with recommendations to resolve testing issues that impact the performance or validity of testing.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Conducts tests and data collection of R&D power supplies and component systems. </li><li>Designs R&D components and test fixtures. </li><li>Prepares and test samples according to both internal and third-party specifications. </li><li>Performs installation and repairs of R&D test equipment and components. </li><li>Conducts test of R&D products with established policies and procedures. </li><li>Maintains accurate records of test results. </li><li>Reports results to development team. </li><li>Operates R&D machinery and equipment in a safe manner. </li><li>Performs electrical and mechanical checks of R&D heating equipment. </li><li>Provides status update of all ongoing projects. </li><li>Other duties as assigned through identified and established process improvements. </li></ul> <p>Additional Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>May be required to cross train and demonstrate competency on all essential job functions of the department working at different workstations as production needs require. </li><li>Establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships; training and teaching others. </li><li>Maintenance of a clean and orderly work area free of excess materials. </li><li>Support of and involvement in company, department, and/or safety policies, procedures, programs and activities. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>Associate Science in Electronics required and more than one (1) year of applicable technician experience.</p> <ul> <li>Ability to train and give work direction to less skilled and experienced technicians or other personnel. </li><li>Ability to make independent decisions on matters having an important influence on the outcome of assigned projects. </li></ul>
