(i.e., human resources, patient care environment, supplies, etc.) </li><li>Directing and supervising professional and non-professional staff </li><li>Determining staff assignment and scheduling </li><li>Assuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. </li><li>Participating in the development of patient care standards and delivery of care processes. </li><li>Facilitating and participating in staff development, including orientation and training. </li><li>Participating in performance evaluation and management including verbal coaching and counseling. </li><li>Participating in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the quality improvement and safety plan. </li><li>Maintaining a clinical environment that demonstrates service excellence. </li><li>Functioning as a professional role model and resource person. </li></ul> <p>What you will need:</p> <ul> <li>Current licensure by the Maryland State Board as a Registered Nurse </li><li>BLS certification (issued through the American Heart Association) </li><li>Bachelor's in Nursing required; Master's degree in nursing preferred </li><li>Minimum of 3 years of specialty specific experience in an acute care setting. </li><li>Advanced computer skills to include data entry and retrieval, including Microsoft specialty products. </li><li>Reads, writes, speaks and comprehends English language. </li><li>Ability to effectively communicate complex and comprehensive information thoroughly and succinctly. </li></ul> <p>Pay Range: $42.20 - 61.00</p> <p>Pay is based on experience, skills and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
