<p>Execution of department priorities on shift</p> <p>Create and sustain a safe and productive work environment for team members on shift</p> <p>Hands-on member of the team</p> <p>Provide support, assistance and communicate to team members</p> <p>Help coordinate communication between all levels of the organization.</p> <p>SAFETY AND PROCEDURES</p> <ul> <li>Follow all applicable safety policies/procedures. </li><li>Verify all safety policies/procedures are being implemented and followed on shift. </li><li>Use appropriate PPE for identified job tasks and ensure it is available and being used by department personnel on shift. </li><li>Attend and participate in all safety training and the safety observation program. </li><li>Report all safety hazards observed. </li><li>Understand and assist with the completion of JSA tables for any incidents within the department. </li></ul> <p>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS</p> <ul> <li>Operate production equipment </li><li>Lead tier I (Pre-Shift) meetings </li><li>Communicate any issues/updates to other Team Leads and/or department leadership </li><li>Act as point-of-contact for any issues on shift and direct appropriate resources to the issue </li><li>Conduct connective checking </li><li>Coach employees on any performance issues and report ongoing/serious incidents to Area Manager </li><li>Has the authority to send an employee home for a serious incident </li><li>Complete temporary transfer checklists </li><li>Maintain production schedule as established on virtual board </li><li>Maintain safety program and initiatives </li><li>Attend Team Lead Meetings </li><li>Ensure quality and consistency of products </li><li>Deal with quality situations as they arise and report to Area Manager for root cause analysis </li><li>Report all breakdowns to maintenance via tech board </li><li>Handle & report employee call-ins </li><li>SAP production reporting </li><li>Ensure participation in stretching program </li><li>Assist with 6S audits </li><li>Assign tasks to shifts </li><li>Understand the incident reporting process </li><li>Act as a go-to person in emergency situations </li><li>Complete daily safety checklists </li><li>Assess parking lot conditions midway through shift during winter weather </li><li>Reads, understands and is committed to conducting business in accordance to Albany International's Business Ethics Policy. All business of the company should, at all times, be conducted ethically, fairly, honestly and with integrity </li></ul> <p>REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>Required Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Lead by example </li><li>Strong Communication Skills </li><li>Safety Conscious </li><li>Quality oriented </li><li>Ability to troubleshoot equipment </li><li>Working knowledge of manufacturing processes </li><li>Positive attitude </li><li>Basic computer skills </li><li>Self-directed </li></ul> <p>Required Experience:</p> <p>2 years previous industry experience</p> <p>Education Requirements:</p> <p>High School Diploma Required</p>
