We are looking for associates who look forward to coming to work and want to make a positive impact on our production team as a First Shift Welder.</p> <p>What We Offer:</p> <ul> <li>Health and welfare benefits are eligible day 1, generous PTO plan, 11 paid holidays </li><li>Quarterly attendance bonuses </li><li>401(k) plan with company match </li></ul> <p>What Our Location Offers You:</p> <ul> <li>A quant village in Dodge County founded on a railroad line named for the iron mined in the area </li><li>Located 50 minutes away from Wisconsin's largest city, Milwaukee </li><li>Great team environment in which you matter and make a difference </li></ul> <p>What You Will Do:</p> <ul> <li>Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions: Vertical, horizontal, or overhead </li><li>Read blueprints / drawings and take / read measurements to plan layout and procedures </li><li>Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements </li><li>Set up components for welding according to specifications </li><li>Operate angle grinders when necessary to prepare parts to be welded </li><li>Align parts to be welded using calipers, rulers, measuring tapes, clamps, fixtures…etc. </li><li>Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws </li><li>Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety </li></ul> <p>What You Bring:</p> <ul> <li>Proficient in GMAW (gas metal arc welding) and GTAW (gas tungsten arc welding) </li><li>Capable of adjusting machines to different material thickness </li><li>Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve </li><li>Able to communicate and work/weld with others </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds routinely </li></ul> <p>Additional Requirements: Qualified candidates will be asked to complete a weld test to D1.2 AWS (American Welding Society, Structural Welding Code - Aluminum)</p> <p>Check out the COOL things we've been up to!</p> <ul> <li>Cube Cooling for Frac Truck </li><li>Turnkey Solutions for Nonalcoholic Beer & Wine </li><li>Heat Exchanger for Pharmaceuticals </li></ul>
