<p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The Meat Grinder/Marinator is responsible for grinding, processing, and marinating various types of meats according to company specifications and food safety standards. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring high-quality meat products are prepared efficiently for distribution.</p> <p>What you'll do:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Operate industrial meat grinders and other processing equipment to grind meat to the required texture and consistency.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare and mix marinades following company recipes and specifications to ensure consistency in flavor and quality.</p> </li><li> <p>Properly marinate meats according to established procedures, ensuring even distribution of seasoning and proper absorption.</p> </li><li> <p>Weigh and portion meat products for packaging and distribution, ensuring accuracy and compliance with quality standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Inspect meat products for freshness, quality, and any defects before processing.</p> </li><li> <p>Follow strict food safety and hygiene protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation of meat and equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain and clean meat processing equipment, ensuring it operates efficiently and safely.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in tracking inventory levels of raw meat, seasonings, and other ingredients, reporting shortages as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Work collaboratively with other production team members to meet daily production goals and maintain workflow efficiency.</p> </li><li> <p>Adhere to all company safety regulations and procedures to prevent workplace accidents and ensure a safe working environment.</p> </li></ul> <p>About you:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High school diploma or equivalent.</p> </li><li> <p>Previous experience in meat processing, food production, or a related field is preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Basic knowledge of meat cuts, processing techniques, and food safety regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work in cold storage environments and stand for extended periods.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and safety protocols.</p> </li><li> <p>Physical ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience operating food processing equipment, such as grinders and mixers, is a plus.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing production needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong teamwork and communication skills.</p> </li></ul>
