Reporting directly to the Controller, you will work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with accounting principles and regulations, and support the organization's continued growth and success.</p> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</p> <p>The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee accounts payable including creating new vendors, processing invoices, managing employee expense reports and reconciling credit card transactions. </li><li>Assist with accounts receivable, including payment posting, responding to customer invoice inquiries, and managing collections. </li><li>Perform general accounting duties such as booking payroll and cash journal entries, reconciling bank accounts, and posting balance sheet entries. </li><li>Assist with the development, implementation, and monitoring of company accounting policies and procedures. </li><li>Stay informed about industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes impacting the healthcare sector. </li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally to provide financial data and insights to support decision-making. </li><li>Demonstrate a commitment to accuracy, integrity, and a holistic understanding of how your work impacts the organization. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related field. </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a related accounting role </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to manage complex formulas and analyze data </li><li>Familiarity with Sage Intacct or similar cloud-based accounting software (preferred) </li></ul> <p>Other:</p> <ul> <li>Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting requirements, and internal controls </li><li>Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills </li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities </li><li>Highly curious, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement </li></ul> <p>Working Environment and Travel Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Work is typically in a normal office administrative environment involving minimal exposure to physical risks. </li><li>Position requires little to moderate physical activity. Mostly sedentary work exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
