The Consumer Loan Administrator will serve as a resource to assist with responding to inquiries and resolving problems as needed, provide prompt, courteous, and excellent customer service, and will ensure compliance with the Bank's policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.</p> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Must work closely with the Consumer Lending team throughout the loan process to include, but not limited to completing application packages, obtaining required credit related information, ordering credit reports, appraisals, property searches, flood searches, and other due diligence items as necessary. </li><li>Willing to learn the Bank's loan origination system (ComplianceOne and ComplianceOne Mortgage, Encompass, and any other applicable loan system) for processing documents necessary for loan package completion for various consumer loan and/or residential mortgage loan products. </li><li>Communicate with loan applicant(s) via phone / e-mail / secure correspondence regarding, but not limited to outstanding documentation required to render a credit decision, answering applicant questions, and proactively providing status updates with the applicant(s). </li><li>Document and review loan packages for accuracy and verify all conditions have been satisfied. </li><li>Keep thorough documentation of the loan process from origination through closing. </li><li>Maintain new residential & consumer loan files and ensure that the loan files contain documents with proper signatures, dates, and all relevant data. </li><li>Coordinate closing/settlement details for all consumer and residential mortgage loans. </li><li>Responsible for loan tasks that may include but not limited to imaging loan files, real estate tax monitoring, loan denials, tickler updates, insurance updates, collateral maintenance, and review of incoming mail for loan related items. </li><li>Follow-up on loan documentation in a timely manner and ensure deadlines are met. </li><li>Contact Relationship Manager/Loan Officer and/or appropriate branch personnel to coordinate loan closings. </li><li>Check documents for proper vesting, legal descriptions, closing dates, and signatures. </li><li>Actively communicate, cooperate, and interact effectively with other departments to advance the overall interests of the Bank. </li><li>Monitor DocuSign mailboxes and other queues to ensure the timely receipt and processing of documents. </li><li>Perform a variety of administrative duties requiring knowledge of departmental procedures. </li><li>Uses office computers for data input and other activities. </li><li>Understand and adhere to all policies and procedures. </li><li>Assist in loan reviews, audits, and regulatory exams. </li><li>Cross train in other areas of the Loan Department as assigned. </li><li>Perform other duties and assist with projects as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Requirements: To achieve success, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
