Our hospital is also honored with awards for cardiac surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, and excellence in women's services by Healthgrades and Newsweek.</p> <p>Under the direct supervision of the Section Supervisor, the Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) processes patient specimens, performs testing and reports specified clinical laboratory diagnostic tests, as permitted by the Federal and State regulations. The MLT notifies appropriate clinical personnel of critical results and provides proper documentation. The MLT will perform a variety of clerical and quality control activities.
