<p>Job Description</p> <p>Company Info</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center has an exciting opportunity available for a skilled, resourceful and motivated individual who would like to make a difference in the lives of others in helping a non-for-profit organization fulfill its mission to provide quality health care in Nashville, TN. Reporting to the Lead Patient Business Representative, the Patient Business Representative (PBR) will be responsible for the day to day operations of the respective medical and/or dental suite which includes; but is not limited to the following operational functions:</p> <ul> <li>Customer care, </li><li>Financial collections, </li><li>Patient account management, </li><li>Claim processing, </li><li>Balancing and posting batches, </li><li>Checking patients in and discharging patients, </li><li>Working error reports, and </li><li>Appointment scheduling </li></ul> <p>The PBR must possess the ability to work efficiently and effectively with all levels of the organization, particularly patients from varying economic backgrounds. The individual must have documented evidence of the ability to advise, consult and counsel with patients concerning account balances. Experience in cash handling, Medicare, TennCare and third party billing is required.
