As a Principal Engineer, AMS layout you will contribute to the expansion of the Infineon Team!!!</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>In your new role you will:</p> <ul> <li>Own and lead complex IC top-level layout for multi-phase power controllers </li><li>Document block-level & top-level layout verification checks and maintain compliance checklists </li><li>Prepare layout deliverables for top-level integration - focus on quality and first pass success </li><li>Perform top-level integration of IP blocks (analog and AMS) </li><li>Perform top-level verification, DRC/LVS/power analysis </li><li>Layout full custom blocks for data converters and precision analog IP </li><li>Integrate custom RTL2GDS implementation of digital macros </li><li>Run parasitic extractions </li><li>Create/Review trial run and final mask orders </li><li>Mentor and teach junior layout engineers </li></ul> <p>Your Profile</p> <p>You are best equipped for this task if you have:</p> <ul> <li>15 years of Analog MS IC layout/physical design </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering Degree or Associate's degree in layout design </li><li>Experience with leading complex IC layout for high-speed AMS designs </li><li>Knowledge of industry standard layout EDA tools (Cadence/Synopsys)and layout verification tools (DRC, ERC, LVS, ANTDRC etc.) </li><li>Experience with top-level layout design, floor planning, power mesh optimization, ordering, and reviewing mask orders </li><li>Experience with block-level layout of analog blocks such as band-gaps, temp sense, LDOs, op-amps, and MS blocks such as ADCs & DACs </li><li>Understanding of ESD and Latch Up aware layout design </li><li>Knowledge of IC manufacturing process & Silicon process technologies (BCD & CMOS, 22-130nm) </li><li>Experience working with remote design/layout/RTL2GDS teams across different time zones in a collaborative environment </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, thorough documentation skills and ability to present layout reviews to design leads and management </li></ul> <p>#WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.</p> <p>As a global leader in semiconductor solutions in power systems and IoT, Infineon enables game-changing solutions for green and efficient energy, clean and safe mobility, as well as smart and secure IoT.
