<p>Do you have five years of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial environment? Staffmark is seeking new talent in Osceola, AR, and hiring a new Industrial Maintenance Technician for an industry leader in steel manufacturing. The candidate selected for this direct-hire opportunity will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting a wide range of equipment in the Coated Products area of the facility. If you are searching for a better work-life balance and have a strong technical background, we encourage you to apply today!</p> <p>Pay: Based on experience</p> <p>Shift Details: 7 AM - 7 PM/7 PM-7 AM (12-hour shifts) working on a rotating 4-4 schedule (days to nights)</p> <p>Industrial Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Inspect and Examine machinery and equipment to detect and find irregularities and malfunctions. </li><li>Troubleshoot, perform preventative maintenance and repair complex mechanical equipment. </li><li>Coordinate Maintenance activities to troubleshoot, perform preventative maintenance, and repair all Mechanical Systems of assigned processes. </li><li>Direct Activities to install or modify assigned process mechanical equipment following proper codes, manuals, schematics diagrams, and or relevant specifications. </li><li>Collaborate with all Electrical and Operations Personnel in a fast-paced environment to help develop a safety-focused and productive process team. </li><li>Provide support to the Coated Products Mechanical and Reliability Supervisor in facilitating a seamless working relationship between all members of the finishing team. </li><li>Assist with the development of a work safety program, PM system, personnel training program, and equipment spare list for the process group. </li></ul> <p>Requirements: HS diploma or equivalent (additional education or technical certificates in a related field are preferred); 5+ years of work experience in an Industrial Environment (preferably in the Steel Industry); Knowledge and efficiency in the use of the proper rigging equipment, including critical lifts; Experienced with mobile equipment (Rough Terrain, Man Lift, Fork Lift, Carry Deck or Broaderson); Experience with reading mechanical blueprints, working with Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Power Transmission Systems; Detail-oriented with strong computer, communication, troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills; Demonstrated proficiency in using precision measuring instruments; Ability to perform physically demanding work, stand for extended periods, and frequently lift 50 pounds.</p> <p>Employee Benefits/Perks:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive base pay </li><li>Incentive pay opportunities </li><li>Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance </li><li>Company matching dependent care FSA </li><li>Retirement savings opportunities </li><li>Paid parental leave </li><li>Life insurance coverage </li><li>Disability benefits </li><li>Employee Assistance Program </li><li>Adoption assistance/infertility coverage </li><li>Paid holiday, vacation, and personal days (opportunity to purchase additional vacation days) </li><li>Education assistance </li><li>Employee discount programs </li><li>Wellness initiatives </li><li>Career advancement opportunities </li></ul> <p>Would you be a good fit for this exciting career advancement?</p> <p>If you are motivated and strive to exceed expectations, click "Apply Now" to connect with our recruiting team!</p> <p>After you have applied, download our Staffmark Group WorkNOW App to receive real-time job offers and apply for additional opportunities.
