<p>Overview</p> <p>Kimley-Horn's Nashville, TN office is seeking an Environmental Planner/Project Manager with 4+ years of experience to join their Environmental team! This is not a remote position.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Will help expand out multi-disciplinary planning practice in Tennessee </li><li>Has expertise in managing and preparing NEPA (National Environmental Policy Act) documents, preparation of NEPA training materials and guidance documents and a firm knowledge of planning and environmental linkage principals </li><li>Attend meetings and communicate with clients, government entities, and various regulatory agencies to fulfill any regulations and requirements relating to projects </li><li>Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules </li><li>You will flourish on both building meaningful internal and external professional relationships </li><li>You will work closely and collaboratively with other industry leading professionals, various jurisdictions, and contractors </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>4+ years of planning experience conducting environmental and planning studies for DOT's and municipal transportation agencies </li><li>Bachelors or Masters Degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Botany, Biology, or related field </li><li>Preparation of NEPA documents including management and preparation related environmental technical studies </li><li>Possess strong technical writing skills and have experience writing detailed technical reports </li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of NEPA required agency coordination efforts </li><li>Knowledge and ability to assist with public involvement related activities </li><li>Interest in working with planners and designers to avoid and minimize ecological impacts </li><li>Willingness and flexibility to travel for projects as needed </li><li>Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines </li><li>Desire to provide exceptional client service </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities </li></ul> <p>Why Kimley-Horn?</p> <p>At Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
