They are responsible for examining blueprints, diagnosing and fixing issues, performing routine maintenance, and providing technical direction and training. They also identify maintenance risks, perform emergency repairs, and ensure HVAC systems work properly and efficiently.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Installing and repairing various air quality systems, such as heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. </li><li>Locating and diagnosing maintenance problems on equipment, such as mechanical and electrical issues. </li><li>Conducting warranty services and emergency repairs on certain equipment items. </li><li>Performing system maintenance tasks, such as inspecting, cleaning, adjusting, and fixing. </li><li>Delegating and directing the activities of outside contractors where needed including setting priorities, performing quality control checks and certifying invoices. </li><li>Completion of electronic or paper-based records of maintenance tasks. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>A high school or obtain a GED diploma. </li><li>Lift up to 50 lbs. </li><li>Enroll in an apprenticeship or training program to gain on-the-job experience. </li><li>Earn a license, which is required in many states (USA); or hold journeyman or greater certification in the province of employment (Canada). </li><li>Must have a Universal Refrigerant License (USA) or ODP/ODS certification (Canada) </li><li>Obtain certification to specialize in the field </li><li>Skills in problem-solving, troubleshooting, and repairing or replacing faulty parts </li></ul> <p>While we appreciate all applications we receive, we advise that only candidates under consideration will be contacted.</p> <p>Ainsworth (a GDI company) is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
