Additional responsibilities include directing the measurement and dimensional verification, as well as aiding in the design and development of test fixtures of said projects</p> <p>This is a hybrid role in our corporate headquarters in suburban Philadelphia (Colmar, PA) Monday through Thursday with the ability to work from home on Friday.</p> <p>Primary Duties</p> <ul> <li>Utilize reverse engineering best practices to facilitate product design and development </li><li>Collaborate with engineering to develop new product ideas as well as improve existing products </li><li>Coordinate with product teams to create CAD models, drawings and documentation based on data acquired individually or with support from engineering and metrology lab. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Significant experience using SolidWorks (or similar 3D CAD) design software for design, modeling, drafting, and prototyping; Experience using Geomagic Design X is a plus </li><li>Knowledge of GD&T drafting techniques (Reading and Applying) </li><li>Ability to use basic measurement tools, comparator, calipers, micrometers; CMM a plus </li><li>Ability to analyze, interpret, and apply metrology data </li><li>Experience with small hand tools (drill press, grinder, etc.) </li><li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel </li><li>Participated in cross-functional teams </li><li>Ability to individually prioritize and manage multiple projects ranging in complexity and product category. </li><li>Experience with digital imaging and photography </li><li>Basic to intermediate functional knowledge of automotive vehicle components </li><li>Basic to intermediate knowledge of manufacturing materials and processes </li><li>Physical Requirement: Capability to lift 20 pounds. </li><li>Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach, swivel, carry items from one building to another, and speak and actively listen.
