<p>Apply</p> <p>Description</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY:</p> <p>The Groundskeeper Intern is employed to do landscaping maintenance needs as assigned to specific areas on campus.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Maintains and actively promotes effective communication with all individuals. </li><li>Maintains a positive image of the entity in the community keeping in alignment with our mission, vision, and values. </li><li>Maintain landscaped areas on or around the Campus. </li><li>Prepare flowerbeds. </li><li>Weed around buildings and terrace areas. </li><li>Mulch planted areas and or around trees. </li><li>Removal and replacement of stones around buildings. </li><li>Edge landscape areas around campus. </li><li>Lawn Maintenance - top soil & seeding. </li><li>Set up hoses/water plantings as needed. </li><li>Constant use of shovels, rakes, etc. </li><li>Clean up and remove waste/liter across all ground on entire Campus </li><li>Campus wide - seasonal clean up. </li><li>Apartment garages swept out and clean up sand in parking areas. </li><li>Ability to operate mechanical equipment as directed/approved. </li><li>Performs other duties, as assigned </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Commitment to quality outcomes and services for all individuals. </li><li>Ability to relate well to all individuals. </li><li>Ability to maintain and protect the confidentiality of information. </li><li>Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound decisions. </li><li>Ability to adapt to change. </li></ul>
