<p>Apply</p> <p>Description</p> <p>Who We Are:</p> <p>Notre Dame Health Care Center, Inc. (NDHCC), deeply rooted in the heritage of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, is committed to the physical, spiritual, and emotional care of our residents and patients. Located off the shores of Lake Quinsigamond within the woods of the Worcester Land Trust, our nationally recognized Long-Term Care and Skilled Rehabilitation Center seeks candidates committed to providing high quality and compassionate care to our residents. In addition to long term care and skilled rehabilitative services, NDHCC serves the community by providing adult and pediatric hospice care, assisted living, adult and pediatric palliative care, and staff and community education services. Notre Dame Health Care is a mission-driven, not-for-profit, IRC 501(c)(3) organization, serving the greater Worcester community since 1993.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Upholding the mission of NDHCC and the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, the Vice President will lead our premier long sterm and skilled rehab center and provide administrative oversight to all facility practices, including regulatory compliance, personnel management, resident-centered care, financial management and analysis, and other day-to-day operations of a 123 bed, Medicare and Medicaid-certified skilled nursing facility. As a member of NDHCC's Senior Leadership Team and reporting to the President/CEO, the Vice President will be integrally involved in developing and implementing both facility-based and campus-oriented strategic goals and initiatives.</p> <p>Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Integrate and implement NDHCC's mission and philosophy, emphasizing the values of compassion, justice and respect for the dignity of all individuals. </li><li>Works collaboratively with Human Resources. </li><li>Responsible for overseeing the operations of all departments in the facility including the control, utilization and conservation of physical and financial assets, and maintaining high- quality resident care. </li><li>Provide recommendations to Leadership and integrate and implement the policy directives of the CEO, Senior Leadership Team, and/or Board of Directors. </li><li>Manage the facility's operations to meet residents' needs by employing adequate numbers of qualified and appropriately trained professional and support personnel and by appropriately delegating duties and monitoring for performance. </li><li>Supervise personnel and manage delivery of care between clinical and non-clinical staff of all levels, as well as our medical professionals. </li></ul> <p>. Continuously work to promote a resident-centered, consumer-driven, and industry leading service care model, based on industry "best practices", and through the quality and performance improvement process (QAPI).</p> <ul> <li>Represents the skilled nursing facility at Board of Director meetings and on Board committees. </li><li>Represents the skilled nursing facility and Notre Dame Health Care within the NDHC community, the skilled nursing facility industry, and within the greater Worcester Community. </li><li>Lead the skilled nursing facility leadership team in the full implementation of all regulatory changes by developing new processes and systems based on "best practice" standards. </li><li>Collaborates and partners with members of the Senior Leadership Team on organizational needs, and actively contributes to the development of better systems, policies and procedures, and NDHC "campus unity". </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>A current Massachusetts Nursing Home Administrator license in "good standing" required. </li><li>BBA, BHA, or related field; MHA or advanced practice certifications strongly preferred. </li><li>Minimum 5-10 years experience as a licensed nursing home administrator required. </li><li>Current knowledge regarding long term care facility operations, management, financial, and related economic, regulatory and Long-Term care industry required, including the "final rule". </li><li>Experience in the administration of workforce development strategies & programs preferred. </li><li>Possess effective management skills, strong financial and analytical acumen, and professional verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Mission-driven and non-profit organizational experience of at least three years is preferred. </li><li>Competency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and electronic health record (EHR) systems required, preferably PCC. </li><li>Comfortable with emerging and new technology; early adopters preferred. </li><li>Understanding of the particular concerns in caring for the aged population required. </li></ul> <p>PM17</p>
