<p>Senior Reimbursement Analyst A Brief Overview Provides assistance in the administration of the hospital#s reimbursement program and system. Assists in the preparation and maintenance of schedules and reports required by all third-party and governmental agencies for hospital reimbursement applications. What you will do Collects and assembles information for the completion of state and federal cost reports and surveys for multiple entities within system. Participates in annual Medicare and Medicaid cost report audits Participates in annual financial audit of facility. Prepares and provides documents as requested by auditors. Utilizes software programs for the preparation of interim reimbursement analyses and prepares final cost reports including but not limited to CMS 2552, Tennessee Joint Annual Report (JAR), and the Intern and Resident Information System (IRIS). Conducts other analyses relative to changes in reimbursement regulations and rules. Coordinates and performs activities and handles administrative matters in accordance with established policies and procedures. Provides research and administrative support to special projects, preparing data, reports and follows-up on projects. Participates with external audits and reviews. Provides technical assistance in preparing the net revenue model. Qualifications Bachelor#s Degree In Business Administration or related field with emphasis in Finance or Accounting. Required Minimum 5 years experience Progressive experience in accounting/finance specifically in the area of hospital reimbursement.
