<p>Job Title: Pharmacy Technician/ Registered Pharmacy Technician/Must have KY Pharmacy Technician License</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting our licensed pharmacists in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to our patients. You will work in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications while adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Prepare and label prescription medications for dispensing. </li><li>Measure, count, and package medications according to prescription orders. </li><li>Replenish medication in automated cells to full capacity, opening large quantities of bottles and cases of product. </li><li>Ensure the proper labeling and instructions for patient use on medication containers. </li><li>Maintain an organized and clean dispensing area. </li><li>Conduct regular stock rotation to prevent expiration of medications. </li><li>Adhere to all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations. </li><li>Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times. </li><li>Assist in record-keeping and documentation of prescription and medication-related information. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Indiana Pharmacy Technician License </li><li>High School Diploma or equivalent </li><li>Previous pharmacy experience </li><li>Ability to select and lift objects from shelves and carry to order filling line </li><li>Ability to consistently carry 20 - 30 lbs. of merchandise short distances and 15 lbs. of merchandise on an extended basis from order filling station to conveyor </li><li>Must be able to walk and stand throughout the entire shift </li><li>Basic math, reading, and writing skills </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Pharmacy Technician Certification </li><li>Excellent attention to detail </li><li>Quality-focused </li><li>Ability to stay on task </li><li>Accountability </li><li>Ability to work well as part of a team </li></ul> <p>BENEFITS</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
