<p>POSITION TITLE: Quality Control Chemist</p> <p>REPORTS TO: Quality Lead</p> <p>Luxfer Magtech specializes in developing, manufacturing, and supplying a broad range of products that safeguard and protect, ranging from flameless ration heaters that give our U.S. Military a hot meal; innovative chemical response kits designed to detect and decontaminate chemical warfare agents; to nutritious hot food and beverage options for militaries and first responders.</p> <p>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>The primary function for this position is to blend, batch and[MW1] validate various solutions and chemical intermediates used in the manufacturing process, supporting all product categories. Responsibilities also include performing quantitative tests, chemical titrations, product conformance, and all applicable end-item testing. This position has primary responsibility for safety and environmental compliance in their work areas and manages the Hazardous Waste area.
