<p>SUMMARY:</p> <p>The Group Leader position is an enthusiastic leader who will supervise groups, prepare daily schedules and activities, delegate tasks and ensure group members cooperate and goals are achieved. A successful leader will radiate confidence, inspire others and be able to build professional relationships. We actively promote and encourage behaviors that align to our Values: 1) Treat everyone like family, 2) Always do the right thing, and 3) Relentlessly pursue excellence and our Leadership Expectations: 1) Connect with Purpose, 2) Execute with Excellence and 3) Build the future.</p> <p>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Leading a group of production team members in day-to-day operations in a fabrication or production department. </li><li>Providing clear written and/or verbal instructions to team members and promptly addressing any questions or concerns. </li><li>Planning daily production activities and delegating tasks. </li><li>Clearly outlining goals and ensuring group members understand what's expected of them. </li><li>Educating and training new team members. </li><li>Ensuring health and safety regulations are always obeyed. </li><li>Monitoring team performance and making recommendations for improvement. </li><li>Providing group sessions as well as one-on-one meetings where individuals can voice their concerns or questions. </li><li>Upholding the values and standards of the organization or company and setting a good example for colleagues and group members. </li><li>Conducting daily training and safety sessions, as required. </li><li>Support a Barletta Safe culture by adhering to and advocating for the safest behaviors and proactively identifies opportunities to mitigate job-related risks and hazards. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED. </li><li>Experience with shop tools and equipment required. </li><li>Evidence of excellent leadership skills. </li><li>Prior experience managing groups is preferable. </li><li>Certification in leadership, teaching, management, or communication may be advantageous. </li><li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills. </li><li>Great organizational skills. </li><li>Working knowledge of administrative functions. </li><li>The ability to maintain professionalism under pressure. </li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. </li></ul> <p>COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:</p> <ul> <li>Compensation is based on past job history, knowledge and experience. </li><li>Medical/Rx </li><li>HSA/FSA </li><li>Dental & Vision </li><li>Short and Long-Term Disability </li><li>Company Paid Life Insurance and AD&D </li><li>Voluntary Life, Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital, Legal, Identity Theft </li><li>401k with match </li><li>Employee Stock Purchase Program </li><li>Tuition Reimbursement </li></ul>
