<p>Position Summary</p> <p>As the Distribution Center Manager, you'll be the driving force behind the daily operations of our Distribution Center. You'll lead a high-performing team to ensure efficient material flow, from receiving and storing inventory to accurate order fulfillment and timely shipping. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, are passionate about logistics excellence, and enjoy developing people, this is your opportunity to make a real difference.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Oversee all distribution center functions including receiving, picking, shipping, loading, product allocation, inventory control, and transportation. </li><li>Directly manage and support distribution team members to ensure performance goals are met. </li><li>Optimize labor resources and supply usage to remain within budget, adjusting schedules and shifts as needed to meet operational demands. </li><li>Oversee the procurement, utilization, and maintenance of equipment and assets; collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely upgrades and repairs. </li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party vendors. </li><li>Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and continuous development programs to foster a skilled and motivated team. </li><li>Manage all aspects of employee performance including evaluations, disciplinary actions, and terminations when necessary. </li><li>Partner with the safety team to conduct training, workplace observations, safety audits, and incident investigations; implement corrective actions as needed. </li><li>Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment that consistently meets or exceeds operational standards. </li><li>Develop and manage staff schedules and work assignments to ensure effective coverage and workload balance. </li><li>Identify and recommend process improvements and cost-saving initiatives to the Director of Distribution. </li><li>Analyze operational challenges, propose solutions, and collaborate across departments to drive continuous improvement. </li><li>Champion a culture of high accuracy, accountability, and exceptional customer service. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred. </li><li>5+ years of experience in Warehouse, Distribution, or Supply Chain operations required. </li><li>Proven leadership or supervisory experience are strongly preferred. </li><li>Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems is a plus. </li><li>Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word). </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams. </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. </li><li>Passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence. </li></ul>
