<p>Role and Responsibilities:</p> <p>The Shift Supervisor's responsibilities include, but may not be limited to,</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ensure compliance to all safety policies and procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Support the vision, mission and guiding principles of Woodsage LLC.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures as defined in the Employee Handbook.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee shift operations by executing the designated production plan.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for daily communication of individual production activities.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for training and ensuring competence of employees.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate and provide feedback to team daily.</p> </li><li> <p>Evaluate and document performance by utilizing the Woodsage employee performance review process.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee general operations of the by:</p> </li><li> <p>Communicating expectations to employees.</p> </li><li> <p>Routinely verifying employees are on task.</p> </li><li> <p>Evaluating and documenting employee performance.</p> </li><li> <p>Assisting with problem resolution.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensuring compliance to safety and handbook policies and procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensuring completion of all appropriate documentation related to employees or production.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate issues with Director of Operations.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist Human Resources and Management with maintaining proper staffing levels.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure cleanliness and housekeeping levels are kept at a satisfactory level through the plant.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications and Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 2 years Supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting </li><li>Knowledge or training in safety regulations and safe work practices </li><li>Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (e.g. ISO 9000) </li><li>General PC skills (e.g. Microsoft) </li><li>Strong abilities in problem-solving, adaptability, and communication </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li>Walking, Standing, Sitting, Kneeling, Stooping (Frequently) </li><li>Lifting, Carrying up to 50 pounds (Occasionally) </li><li>Temperatures (Occasionally) </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>401k Matching </li><li>PTO </li><li>10 Paid Holidays </li><li>1 Floating Holiday </li><li>Medical </li><li>Dental </li><li>Vision </li><li>STD/LTD </li><li>Accident </li><li>Life Insurance </li><li>Pre-paid Legal </li><li>Pet Insurance </li><li>Hospital Indemnity </li><li>Critical Illness </li><li>EAP </li></ul>
