<p>Location-Shelby Drive Facility</p> <p>Shift-Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM. Must be flexible, may include some nights and weekends.</p> <p>WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:</p> <p>As our Inventory Operations Manager you'll provide guidance, direction, and vision for inventory. You'll lead a team of Coaches who are responsible for driving inventory management activities that ensure the accuracy, control of inventory transactions, and balances within a Distribution Center. In addition, this role is responsible for developing, implementing, and validating policies, procedures, controls, and systems that prevent, detect and correct errors in inventory transactions and balances while maintaining appropriate segregation of duties.</p> <p>WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH:</p> <p>The Inventory Operations Manager will collaborate with Operations, Planning, and other Inventory teams to ensure our Inventory is available, accurate, and compliant.</p> <p>WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON:</p> <p>The Inventory Operations Manager works in a variety of roles including:</p> <ul> <li>Leading inventory validation programs that comply with company policies and provide ongoing measurements on inventory KPI's for a Distribution Center </li><li>Strengthening a structured problem-solving approach that results in the continuous improvement of inventory accuracy and establish goals, examine root cause analysis of inventory errors, and identify the most critical process failures contributing to inventory errors </li><li>Facilitate the development and implementation of process improvements and evaluate the effectiveness of actions taken </li><li>Build cross functional relationships with key business partners at WHQ and within DC Operations </li><li>Drive the development and culture of the Inventory Management Ops team including hiring, training, leadership development (coaching and mentoring), and fostering an inclusive and open culture </li></ul> <p>WHAT YOU BRING:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline </li><li>5 years' management experience </li><li>Ability to work a flexible schedule to support a 24/7 operations schedule </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft office suite along with experience working with a WMS and ERP (SAP preferred) </li><li>Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills </li><li>Demonstrated strength with critical thinking </li><li>Demonstrated record of developing technical and analytical skills within a staff </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to brief senior leaders on inventory results, projects, and opportunities </li><li>Effective cross-functional project management </li><li>Must understand and foster a diverse workforce </li></ul>
