As we continue to grow and modernize our infrastructure, we are seeking a Senior Engineer, IT Systems & Security to help drive the secure evolution of our technology environment.</p> <p>The Senior Engineer, IT Systems & Security will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, resilient, and scalable infrastructure across multiple environments. In addition to core systems engineering responsibilities, this position will lead efforts to enhance cybersecurity posture, ensure compliance with best practices, and proactively defend the enterprise against emerging threats.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li> <p>Infrastructure Design & Management</p> </li><li> <p>Architect, build, and maintain enterprise systems including Windows Server, Exchange Online, SQL Server, VMware vSphere, Entra ID, and storage solutions</p> </li><li> <p>Administer Storage Area Networks, vSAN, and hyper-converged infrastructure platforms</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee the deployment and lifecycle management of physical and virtual servers across multiple data centers</p> </li><li> <p>Cybersecurity Leadership</p> </li><li> <p>Implement, configure, and manage security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, NextGen endpoint detection and response (EDR), Network Detection and Response (NDR), and Zero Trust solutions</p> </li><li> <p>Partner with IT Security teams to monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain compliance with security frameworks and internal policies (NIST, CIS Controls, etc.)</p> </li><li> <p>Lead risk assessments and recommend mitigations to reduce attack surface</p> </li><li> <p>Systems Monitoring & Incident Response</p> </li><li> <p>Utilize advanced monitoring and logging platforms (e.g., LogicMonitor, Splunk, Darktrace, CrowdStrike) to ensure high availability and security of all systems</p> </li><li> <p>Respond to infrastructure and security events, coordinating remediation efforts end-to-end</p> </li><li> <p>Automation & Optimization</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and maintain automated workflows and configuration management using scripting and orchestration tools (PowerShell, Python, Ansible)</p> </li><li> <p>Proactively identify opportunities to improve performance, resilience, and security</p> </li><li> <p>Collaboration & Support</p> </li><li> <p>Provide Tier III escalation support to IT support teams</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives</p> </li><li> <p>Documentation & Compliance</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of systems configurations, policies, and procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure adherence to ITSM processes and audit requirements</p> </li></ul> <p>What You'll Need</p> <ul> <li> <p>Education & Experience</p> </li><li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum 7 years of experience in systems engineering with at least 3 years focused on cybersecurity solutions in enterprise environments</p> </li><li> <p>Technical Expertise</p> </li><li> <p>Advanced knowledge of:</p> </li><li> <p>Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, Entra ID</p> </li><li> <p>VMware vSphere administration at scale (300+ VMs)</p> </li><li> <p>Storage systems (SAN, vSAN, HCI)</p> </li><li> <p>Network services (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)</p> </li><li> <p>Security platforms (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, NDR, EDR)</p> </li><li> <p>Scripting proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or similar</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with Darktrace, CrowdStrike, Proofpoint, Cohesity, and Splunk is highly desirable</p> </li><li> <p>Certifications (Preferred)</p> </li><li> <p>One or more of the following: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, OSCP, CISA</p> </li><li> <p>Skills & Competencies</p> </li><li> <p>Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies</p> </li><li> <p>Other Requirements</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to travel occasionally (by car or plane)</p> </li><li> <p>Willingness to work varied hours, including evenings or weekends, when necessary</p> </li></ul> <p>Why Join Us?</p> <ul> <li>Work with a talented, driven team supporting marquee brands in a dynamic industry </li><li>Drive meaningful improvements to technology and security posture </li><li>Competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and professional development opportunities </li></ul> <p>Salary Range: $140,000 - $190,000 Annually USD (subject to relevant experience)</p> <p>About Us</p> <p>Hudson Pacific Properties (NYSE: HPP) is a real estate investment trust serving dynamic tech and media tenants in global epicenters for these synergistic, converging, and secular growth industries.
