Key responsibilities include wiring and control system development, PLC programming, and managing technical documentation and engineering changes.</p> <p>Leadership & Project Management</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated ability to lead engineering projects from concept through production, including technical planning, risk management, and design reviews. </li><li>Strong mentoring and team development skills; proven ability to build high-performing engineering teams. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical issues to both engineering and non-technical stakeholders. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related field. </li><li>15+ years of engineering experience, including 8+ years in a technical leadership or engineering management role. </li><li>Proven track record in the design and development of complex electromechanical systems, ideally for laboratory, industrial, or research applications. </li><li>Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams, including mechanical, electrical, controls, and software disciplines </li></ul> <p>Preferred</p> <ul> <li>Experience with hydraulic systems, including servo-hydraulic actuators, hydraulic servovalves, and closed-loop fluid power control. </li><li>Familiarity with pneumatic systems used in precision automation or test equipment. </li><li>Background in the design of laboratory or scientific instrumentation, especially for materials testing, metrology, or structural dynamics applications. </li><li>Experience integrating data acquisition systems into mechanical test platforms. </li><li>Experience collaborating with external vendors, contract manufacturers, or research institutions. </li><li>Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in a relevant engineering field. </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <ul> <li>The pay range for this position is $150,000 - $170,000 per year depending on experience. </li><li>Company sponsored benefits that include medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D insurance, disability and flexible spending account (FSA) </li><li>Voluntary Critical Illness & Accidental Injury Insurance </li><li>Company 401(k) Plan with 4% employer match (Employee/Employer Contributions 100% vested upon hire) </li><li>Paid vacation and holidays </li></ul>
