<p>As a Senior Human Resources Generalist, you will play a strategic and consultative role in the management and delivery of core human resources functions. This includes employee/labor relations, leave of absence management, workplace accommodations, benefits, performance management, compliance, employee engagement, payroll and employee records.</p> <p>Roles & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Facilitates and communicate organization policies and programs to ensure labor law and regulatory and compliance </li><li>Handle complex employee relations issues and conduct investigations in a fair and timely manner while mitigating risk and maintaining confidentiality. </li><li>Lead and manage all aspects of leave administration, including FMLA, ADA, state-specific leaves, and accommodation requests under applicable laws and company policies </li><li>Partner with managers to identify appropriate accommodations and engage in the interactive process in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) </li><li>Assist in HR audits and reporting </li><li>Collaborate with payroll, benefits, and HR operations teams to ensure seamless support for employees </li><li>Analyze HR metrics and trends to develop insights and solutions that support decision-making and business strategy </li></ul> <p>Essential Functions/Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent communication skills both verbal and written </li><li>Demonstrates sound judgment in handling confidential and sensitive employee issues </li><li>Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEOC guidelines, and applicable local regulations. </li><li>Proven ability to manage multiple, complex cases and projects with high attention to detail and timeliness. </li><li>Maintain confidentiality regarding protected information </li><li>Proficient in MS Office products, including Outlook, Word and PowerPoint, and Excel </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>4 + years of progressive Human Resources experience is required </li><li>Demonstrated experience conducting employee investigations and managing leave/accommodation cases </li><li>Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or University preferred or comparative combination of degree, certification and experience </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive HR best practices </li><li>High degree of initiative and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset </li><li>Familiarity with HCM platforms, leave management software and documentation tools </li></ul> <p>PetIQ provides convenient and affordable pet health and wellness products and veterinary services to pets and their families through retail and ecommerce channels across the country.</p> <p>We are advocates for pet parents, because we believe that all pet parents should be able to provide necessary care that enhances the lives of their pets.</p> <p>Why join the PetIQ Team?</p> <ul> <li>Mission-Driven Impact: Join a team dedicated to helping pets live their best lives by providing affordable, innovative veterinary solutions. </li><li>Innovative Culture: Be part of a company that challenges industry norms with creative and resourceful solutions. </li><li>Collaborative Excellence: Thrive in an environment that values continuous improvement, high standards, and teamwork. </li><li>Humble & Hungry Spirit: Work alongside passionate professionals committed to making a real difference in pet care. </li></ul> <p>Closing:</p> <p>PetIQ is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
