<p>Quad is hiring a high-level Industrial Electrician / Controls Specialist to support and modernize our web offset press and bindery platforms across North America and Latin America. This is a hands-on, expert role for someone who can troubleshoot at depth, execute control retrofits, and keep complex production environments running at peak uptime.</p> <p>Travel 30-40% within the U.S. & Latin America required.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Troubleshoot and repair printing press & bindery control systems </li><li>Lead retrofits and modernization projects (especially legacy DC drives) </li><li>Provide remote diagnostics and real-time support to multiple plants </li><li>Drive uptime, reliability, and performance improvements </li><li>Support installs, startups, and continuous improvement initiatives </li><li>Travel to Quad sites across the U.S. and LATAM (30-40%) </li></ul> <p>What You Bring:</p> <ul> <li>15-20 years industrial electrical experience in printing or similar continuous manufacturing </li><li>Strong background with legacy DC drive systems + modern controls </li><li>Proven ability to execute engineering-level retrofits </li><li>Experience with major OEM platforms: </li></ul> <p>GOSS, manroland, Müller Martini, Cerutti, KBA, Contiweb, Megtec, Butler, QuadTech</p> <ul> <li>Some Spanish proficiency highly desirable </li><li>Experience with remote troubleshooting tools/connectivity </li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to work across sites and teams </li></ul> <p>Required Skills:</p> <ul> <li>PLCs proficiency (Allen-Bradley, Siemens) </li><li>Drive system experience from vintage DC & AC systems to state of the art modern drive systems </li><li>Web handling, tension control, dryers, finishing systems </li></ul> <p>Why Quad</p> <ul> <li>Work on some of the most advanced print platforms in the industry </li><li>High-impact role directly tied to production uptime </li><li>Company actively investing in modernization and technology </li></ul>
