At our core, we're a company that believes we can always create a better way.</p> <p>GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB</p> <p>Childcare Teacher who can work Full-Time, primary work hours would be Monday</p> <p>through Friday flexible to work between the hours of (7:30am and 7:30pm). They will</p> <p>support our top-notch childcare team. Teachers are responsible for providing high</p> <p>quality care to the children of Quad/Graphics employees, as well as any children</p> <p>attending from the community.</p> <p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Effectively manage groups of young children to ensure a safe, nurturing and supportive </li></ul> <p>environment</p> <ul> <li>Supervise and interact with children outdoors for extended periods of varied weather </li></ul> <p>condition</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with other teachers </li><li>Maintain a clean and organized classroom consistent with health and safety standards </li><li>Follow daily safety procedures (cleaning and sanitization) </li><li>Assists children with daily activities </li><li>Make daily observations of the health of the children, reporting conditions which require </li></ul> <p>attention and documentation in compliance with state licensing requirements.</p> <ul> <li>Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with parents on a daily basis. </li><li>Show initiative for self-improvement by attending conferences, courses and reading professional </li></ul> <p>materials</p> <p>JOB REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>Appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on an equivalent basis</p> <p>Education: An Associate's Degree in Early Childhood or a Bachelor's Degree in</p> <p>Elementary Education or Early-Middle Childhood Education</p> <p>Experience: A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience preferred</p> <p>Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:</p> <p>Certifications in Early Childhood I, II, Infant/Toddler</p> <p>CPR</p> <p>First Aide</p> <p>Shaken Baby</p> <p>Bloodborne pathogen training (Quad)</p> <p>Child Abuse and Neglect from an accredited school</p> <p>School Age certification</p> <p>Registered in Wisconsin Registry Program (Wisconsin Early Care Professional</p> <p>Development)</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to lift up to 40 pounds several times a day </li><li>Ability to respond to emergency situations </li><li>Positive attitude and good people skills </li><li>Monitoring Children in a child care setting </li><li>Completing daily routine forms per center and state licensing requirements </li><li>Cleaning and sanitizing rooms, furniture, and toys </li><li>Mediating conflict between children </li><li>Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with </li></ul> <p>coworkers, supervisors, families, and children</p> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p> <p>Manual Dexterity: Work requires manual dexterity</p> <p>Physical Effort: Must be physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or</p> <p>outdoors.
