This is what has driven our teams since 1833.</p> <p>Since that time, we have developed to become a critical partner in the global aviation industry, delivering time-critical logistics services at over 300 locations in 65 countries, across 6 continents.</p> <p>But at the heart of our business is our people.</p> <p>Role Purpose</p> <p>This role is responsible for providing administrative assistance to the Maintenance Manager, Parts Manager and other Maintenance Supervisory personnel.</p> <p>What you will be doing</p> <ul> <li>Post parts to work orders. </li><li>Enter work orders into the fleet maintenance software. </li><li>Create and process purchase orders in the fleet maintenance software. </li><li>Perform all shipping and receiving duties both domestic and international, as required. </li><li>Identify part numbers and provide descriptions with the intent of supplying or ordering parts for fleet maintenance technicians utilizing software and catalogs. </li><li>Order parts for inventory, out of service equipment or special requests. </li><li>Manage and process parts cores, as required. </li><li>Work closely with GSE Manager to ensure needed parts and inventory levels are maintained at efficient and optimum levels. </li><li>Conduct cycle counts, inventories and obsolete parts surveys, as directed. </li><li>Work closely with vendors and vendor pricing for optimal efficiency. </li><li>Maintain complete and organized files. </li><li>Submit required reports accurately and on time. </li><li>Manage departmental assignments ensuring all items are completed on time. </li><li>Assist GSE Manager in managing department finances within approved budget. </li><li>Ensure parts system is maintained according to standards acceptable to the division and client. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Safety, Security, Wellbeing and Compliance:</p> <p>You will have a responsibility and duty whilst at work to take reasonable care of the health, safety and wellbeing of yourself and others in accordance with provided information, training, and workplace health and safety rules or procedures.
